Kyra started her life working as a teacher, traveling with her husband who was a military engineer. Unfortunately, her husband went missing in action during a humanitarian mission off world. In the hopes of finding her husband, she fought to join up with an SG unit. She now uses hers skills as a teacher and talents as a linguist to help advocate for the needs of children as she continues to search for clues of her husband's whereabouts.
