Born on an obscure world, descended from slaves of the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld left the planet generations before, but recently returned and tried to re-enslave the population. Peter joined some freedom fighters to push back at the Goa'uld. With help from off planet, they were able to defeat the Goa'uld, and Peter was recruited into Phoenix site.
