Tariro was an elite soldier in the service of Sokar. He knew Sokar wasn't a God for his entire life. After hearing the rumors of a growing rebellion among the Jaffa, he wiped out his entire squad and fled Sokar's territory, eventually joining the Phoenix Alliance.
