Considered the runt of her family Phyrra learned to avoid interaction. instead she focused her attention on machines, not only the ability to fix them but to make them more than what they were intended for. This served her well when raiders came to her town. She were one of the people taken in exchange for the town not being burned down. But once she showed her skills, by unlocking the cage door with a hair clip, the organization decided to keep her ability for themselves. She kept her head down, fixed what she were told to and managed to save a few captives along the way. Eventually the depot she was at was raided by a SG team. After helping them take down the operation she was recruited into the Phoenix project.
