Eridanus Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 Quippy Comebacks, p. 98 states: "Once per Diplomatic Function, inspired characters may halve the amount of DP lost (rounding down) as a result of a failed Diplomatic Action check." So far as I can see, it's not possible for a character to lose more than 1 DP as a result of a failed Diplomatic Action check. Have I missed something? SteveR Posted June 8, 2022 Share Posted June 8, 2022 You can only wager 1 DP per round, but "Diplomatic Function" refers to the entire encounter, not per round. So if in the course of a 5-round diplomatic encounter you wager 5 DP and lose 2 or 3, you get 1 of those back. That's how I read it, anyway.
