Otteravenger
The rules state that a player chooses to appeal to a character through either logic (Intelligence), sympathy (Wisdom), or charm (Charisma). Are these flat 1d20 + MOD rolls? Or do the players get to appeal to a character's logic through use of Science, allowing them to add their proficiency to the Intelligence check? Or more commonly, use Persuade to add their proficiency to a charm (Charisma) check?
McKayRulez
Yes. The rules on page 136 in Phase 3: Make a Check mention that skills can be relevant to the scene like science, deception and persuasion.
Otteravenger
Awesome! Great to know. I had been following the Episode encounters too strictly then, as I don't think any of the Convince encounters in them mentioned the use of skills, just the attributes. My players will be happy to use their relevant skills.
