Katherine "Kath" Abernathy

Katherine Abernathy was a child prodigy raised by a single father after the death of her mother.  Walter Abernathy encouraged his daughter's love of science while making sure she had an opportunity to be a child.

Kath sees the big picture of a problem, while being able isolate the details needed to solve it.
